This section sets out the policies Epicentre Ventures adheres to when working on initiatives and projects with clients and external stakeholders.

Anti-Bribery/Corruption Policy

The following Anti Bribery Policy applies to all initiatives that Epicentre Ventures is retained on or promotes.

  1. Defining Bribery: Bribery is the direct or indirect giving of offers, promises, or payments of cash, gifts or any other inducements of value not permitted or required under local law to a Government Official and those associated with a Government Official in order to obtain or retain an advantage in business (“Improper Payments”).
  2. Bribery is Prohibited: Anti-corruption laws in Canada and the United States prohibit the giving, offering or the agreement to give or offer Improper Payments. Accordingly
    1. all personnel and agents of Epicentre Ventures are prohibited from giving, offering or agreeing to give or offer Improper Payments; and
    2. all those associated with Epicentre Ventures and advancing its interests are strongly discouraged from giving, offering or agreeing to give or offer Improper Payments.
  3. Accurate Accounting Records: Epicentre Ventures will correctly record all financial transactions along with an accurate description of each transaction in its accounting records. Epicentre Ventures will take all necessary steps to ensure there is a reasonable relationship between the substance of a transaction and how it is described in the Company’s Accounting Records.
  4. Audit: Epicentre Ventures may conduct periodic audits of each initiative to ensure compliance with this Policy.
  5. Consequences of Breach: Epicentre Ventures will take disciplinary action against any personnel or agent who
    1. breaches the terms of this Policy;
    2. has direct knowledge of potential violations of this Policy but fails to report such potential violations to Epicentre Ventures; or
    3. misleads or hinders investigators inquiring into potential violations of this Policy.
Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs how Epicentre Ventures will use and disclose Personal Information. By using our website (the “Site”), you signify your consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use this Site or submit any personal information to us.

Epicentre Ventures reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Any such modifications will be reflected in the Privacy Policy posted on our Site. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of this Privacy Policy, as revised.
